Special Education Teacher- Long Term Substitutes

Develop and implement individualized educational programs for assigned students, including creating IEP goals, objectives, and lesson plans aligned with state requirements. Guide the learning process by establishing clear objectives for units and projects, employing appropriate instructional methods, and assessing student progress regularly. Provide social skills training, administer evaluations, and consult with parents, administrators, and professionals to address educational, social, and behavioral needs. Maintain accurate records, participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, and coordinate teacher assistant assignments as needed. Perform building duties and other tasks assigned by the Special Education Director or principal.
