Job Summary
Per diem Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for birth-5 years through Early Intervention and Preschool CPSE/CSE programs in Goshen, NY. Responsibilities include evaluating and monitoring child progress, testing abilities to determine goals, recording evaluations and progress in an EMR, writing detailed analyses and reports, maintaining confidentiality of records, and ensuring compliance with state laws and CPSE/CSE regulations. Requires NYS licensure/certification in Special Education, NYS teaching certification for B-2nd grade disabilities (or permanent certification), Master’s Degree preferred, valid driver’s license, and comfort with MS Word; per diem pay with biweekly direct deposit; benefits available for FT positions and mentoring and CEU opportunities offered. Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Special Education
- NYS Teaching certification in B-2nd grade students with disabilities (or permanent certification in Special Education)
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience in Early Childhood Special Education
- Knowledge of MS Word and computer systems
