Job Summary
Evaluate and monitor children's progress in Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs, adjusting treatment plans and setting realistic goals based on ability tests. Record initial evaluations, treatment details, and progress updates in the Electronic Medical Record system while maintaining confidentiality of all documents. Write detailed analysis and reports, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations for CPSE/CSE special education. Organize and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and computer systems. This role supports a collaborative team approach focused on natural learning environments and family strengths, offering access to unlimited accredited CEU courses and mentoring for all providers.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of MS Word
- Valid Driver's License
- Early Childhood Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
