Job Summary
Teach secondary-level special education by developing and implementing IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans; differentiate instruction; engage in co-teaching, whole/small group, and individualized instruction; participate in PLCs; apply the Waukee Framework for Meeting the Needs of All Students and Iowa Teaching Standards; serve as WHS student advisor; maintain accurate grades and provide feedback; participate in district professional development; and take advantage of licensure-support options offered by the district.
