Job Summary
Plan and instruct students on District and Illinois State Standards aligned curriculum; chair IEP meetings and manage caseload; communicate progress with parents and students; enter grades in databases; develop lesson plans and goals; conduct formal and informal assessments; collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to meet individual student needs; set expectations and foster a safe, positive learning environment; participate in staff development and events outside the regular day; may coach a sport or sponsor activities outside the day.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements (LBS I Endorsement)
- LBSI Endorsement
- Certificate of good health
- Current ISBE license with endorsements and approvals
- Three signed letters of reference
- Resume
- Letter of Introduction
- Current Transcripts
