Job Summary
Manage instructional programs and provide virtual teaching for a caseload of students with special needs using telephone, internet, and curriculum tools. Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while evaluating assessments and conducting parent conferences. Consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure successful program completion, and coordinate specially designed instruction in compliance with federal and state regulations. Provide direct services via web-conferencing, schedule IEP meetings, and assist with documentation and state testing adaptations. Maintain accurate data in the Learning Management System and participate in the Student Support Team. Work from a home office in Indiana with a sign-on bonus after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Special Education or related Education Field
- Must reside in the state of Indiana
- Currently holds an Indiana Special Education K-12 credential
- Experience in policy (IDEA) and/or administration with Special Education
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
