Job Summary
The Special Education Inclusion Teacher delivers instruction aligned with Massachusetts standards, writes IEP progress reports and goals, administers formal and informal assessments, differentiates instruction within an RTI framework, and collaborates with teachers, staff, and parents to support student achievement. responsibilities include guiding lessons toward curriculum standards, documenting student progress, maintaining classroom management, employing innovative instructional strategies and technology, promoting equity and diversity, and participating in professional development and district activities. Reports to the Principal/SPSA and works within Fitchburg Public Schools following district policies and state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities PreK–8*; SEI Endorsement
