Job Summary
Special Education Teacher (Inclusion) to develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons for students with disabilities; collaborate with ARD/IEP teams to set goals; implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill-building programs; plan lessons and materials, modify regular curricula as needed, and assist teachers with implementation in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant settings; conduct ongoing assessments, support student growth, manage classroom behavior, supervise aides/volunteers, and use technology to enhance learning; participate in ARD meetings, communicate with parents, and stay compliant with federal/state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments
- At least one year student teaching or approved internship
