Conduct annual parent interviews and student assessments while developing and coordinating individualized education programs (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams. Create tailored instructional programs that adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, teaching independent living, vocational, and social skills. Document student progress, communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate with occupational therapy, speech, and psychology professionals. Supervise instructional aides and support student evaluation and placement decisions. Maintain professional development through ongoing training.
