Job Summary
Conduct annual parent interviews and student assessments to support IEP goals in inclusive classroom settings. Develop and coordinate individualized education programs with parents and multidisciplinary teams while creating adapted instructional programs. Teach independent living, vocational, social, and community-based skills, and document student progress through regular communication with families and staff. Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech, and psychology teams to promote social integration and advocate for quality services. Supervise instructional aides and support student evaluation and placement with Student Study Teams. Maintain professional development through ongoing training. Full-time schedule with no weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Education Specialist Instruction Credential
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with children
- Professional proficiency in English
- US Work Authorization
- 18 years or older
