Special Education Teacher- (HIRING for 26-27)

Special Education Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction, developing lesson plans and assessments, and maintaining an effective learning environment. Role requires professional communication with students, families, and staff; maintaining accurate records; participating in school events; upholding confidentiality; and adhering to district policies. Must hold a valid teaching certificate per Bulletin 746 and a Bachelor's Degree. Position is full-time at Port Allen, LA with responsibilities including standard duties such as attendance, on-time reports, and participation in events related to the profession. Physical duties include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 10 pounds, and working within a school environment. 182 days per year.
