Job Summary
Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student, preparing detailed lesson plans for administrator approval. Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress and struggles while inviting family members to participate in educational reviews. Use individualized reinforcement techniques to maintain student engagement and confer with on-site therapists on disciplinary and behavioral issues. Participate in scheduled IEP meetings and distribute quarterly progress reports to ensure a safe, productive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Experience working with K-12 children
