Job Summary
Special Education Teacher overseeing evaluation, monitoring and progress of early childhood students (birth-5) through Early Intervention and Preschool programs, developing and adjusting treatment plans, documenting assessments and progress in EMR, writing detailed analyses and reports, and collaborating with a team to support families in natural learning environments; requires NYS licensure/certification in Special Education, NYS teaching certification for B-2nd grade students with disabilities (or permanent certification in Special Education), Master’s Degree preferred, driver’s license, and experience in early childhood settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Special Education
- NYS Teaching certification in B-2nd grade students with disabilities (or permanent certification in Special Education)
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computer systems
- Valid Driver’s License
- Early Childhood Experience
