Job Summary
Special Education Teacher at CP Rochester – Winton Road Facility. Plan and provide educational instruction to young children with disabilities in a preschool classroom; collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, and psychologists; develop and implement IEP goals; maintain structured instructional program; administer standardized assessment tools; adapt curriculum to meet individual needs and manage confidential information per FERPA; supervise 1:1 aides and paraprofessionals; participate in parent-teacher conferences and committee meetings; travel locally as needed. Requires NYS Certification for Students with Disabilities (Birth – Grade 2), bachelor’s degree in Education, experience with young children with developmental delays, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficient technology use. Hours are 37.5 per week, school-year schedule, with a six-week summer program; evening and weekend work may be required. Salary range $50,000-$65,000 with a $3,000 signing bonus; full-time position; provide comprehensive benefits.
