Job Summary
Full-time Special Education Teacher position responsible for developing and implementing IEPs, ensuring student progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support students with emotional and autism support needs. Requires active PA Teaching Certification or qualifications for temporary certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active PA Teaching Certification (Private Academic Certificate or Level I/II Pennsylvania Instructional Special Education Certification - K-12)
- Bachelor's degree with at least six credit hours in special education (for Temporary Private Academic Certificate)
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Additional Requirements
- All New Story School teachers must have their PA teaching license in place by August 1, 2025.
