Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for K-4 Life Skills/Self-Contained classrooms at Indian Trails Elementary in the Fort Osage School District. Responsibilities include adapting classroom work to address individualized learning plans, administering subject-specific assessments, monitoring student progress toward standards, collaborating with fellow teachers and parents, developing and delivering lesson plans, implementing behavior plans, directing assistant staff and student teachers, maintaining open communication with families, and documenting student data to support the school’s objectives.
