Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for Grade 5-8 (contract position) responsible for planning and implementing IEP goals, instructing students in SPED skill areas, planning curriculum and lessons, monitoring progress, maintaining classroom environment, and communicating with parents. Requires applying current research and theory to instructional programs, establishing effective relationships with students, peers, and the community, and supervising students and assistants. Bachelor’s degree and valid SPED teaching certificate required.
