Job Summary
Special Education Teacher responsible for creating an appropriate educational atmosphere and collaborating with administrators, instructional teams, and staff to plan and implement hands-on lessons, diagnose and tailor instruction to individual student needs, assess progress, maintain accurate records, uphold confidentiality, participate in Diocesan catechist certification and professional development, and engage with parents to support student success in a Catholic school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college recognized as acceptable for Florida certification
- Must hold or obtain Professional Certificate in subject area taught within three years of hire
- Must hold or obtain Faith Fit Enrichment Certification in Levels 1, 2, and 3 within three years of hire
