Job Summary
Deliver individualized instruction and communication supports for K–12 students with hearing differences, adapting curriculum and materials to ensure full access. Monitor student progress, adjust instructional strategies, and develop, implement, and oversee IEPs in collaboration with school teams. Provide direct instruction using appropriate communication approaches while partnering with families and classroom teachers to foster academic achievement and self-confidence. Offer guidance and consultation to staff serving DHH students. This role is part of the 2025–2026 academic year, with a preference for ASL fluency and a Georgia Professional Educator License with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Professional Educator License with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) strongly preferred
