Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student, prepare detailed lesson plans for administrator approval, and communicate progress to staff and families. Participate in scheduled IEP meetings, confer with on-site therapists regarding behavioral issues, and invite family members to educational progress discussions. Use individualized reinforcement techniques to maintain student engagement while creating a safe, productive classroom environment. Distribute quarterly progress reports and maintain a bright, active, positive learning space.
