Job Summary
Provide specialized instruction and inclusion support for students in grades 6–12 with diverse learning needs. Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic and behavioral growth. Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student accommodations and success. Maintain documentation, support IEP processes, and foster an inclusive learning environment. This role offers a consistent 34-hour weekly schedule with paid sick leave and holidays off. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $43.40 to $44.30, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
- Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
- Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training)
- Experience supporting K–12 students with behavioral needs
