Job Summary
Special Education Cross Categorical Teacher for K-2 focusing on accommodation/modification delivery and data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include providing all service and consult minutes, coordinating and facilitating IEP meetings, and supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of a diverse elementary student population through evidence-based instructional practices and collaboration with Building Administration.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator Licensure with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience working in an elementary school setting with diverse student population
- Ability to develop, coordinate, and facilitate IEP meetings
- Data-based decision making to identify needs and evaluate progress
- Ability to provide all service and consult minutes as well as develop and implement IEP-related services
