Job Summary
Develop and implement positive behavior support plans and provide Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) for Pre K through 8th grade students in inclusive settings. Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and paraprofessionals to support student needs within the general education framework. Some pull-out services are provided as specified in individual IEP plans. This role begins in the 2026-27 school year at Great Salt Bay School, where the team emphasizes fun and student growth.
Required Qualifications
- Maine Department of Education Special Education Certification (282 or equivalent)
- Experience or strong interest in behavior intervention and positive support strategies
- A passion for working with students from Pre K through middle school
- A desire to be part of a supportive, success oriented team
