Job Summary
Special Education Teacher responsible for delivering direct IEP-aligned instructional services in small groups or one-on-one settings, participating in IEP meetings, developing intervention plans, writing and updating IEPs, coordinating with itinerant providers, and providing case management and collaboration with general education staff to ensure compliant, inclusive instruction and accurate data reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor0#8217;s degree
- Valid Texas Special Education certification
- Valid fingerprint clearance per Texas state regulations
- Eligible for hire in Texas Public Schools
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field
- Experience working in a special education setting (1+ years preferred)
- Certification in CPI or TACT-2 for crisis intervention
- Knowledge of IEP management systems such as ESPED or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student data management systems
