Job Summary
Conduct daily special education support under the guidance of certified teachers at Wren Elementary School. Manage student behavior and facilitate classroom activities while utilizing strong computer applications for documentation and communication. Collaborate with the teaching team to implement individualized education plans and ensure effective classroom management. Maintain good attendance and demonstrate excellent communication skills throughout the school year.
Required Qualifications
- Two years post-secondary education
- an Associates degree
- four year degree
- have passed ParaPathways test
- at least 60 hours of post secondary education
- Very strong knowledge of computer applications
- Teamwork skills
- Good attendance
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good communication skills
