Job Summary
Manage a caseload of up to 10 students by implementing academic and behavior programming, overseeing individualized education program (IEP) execution, and providing direct supervision to instructional assistants and ABA therapists. Collaborate with BCBA and team members to design, analyze, and modify evidence-based interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis, Direct Instruction, and Precision Teaching methods. Deliver one-on-one and small group instruction while reinforcing skills throughout the school day. Requires CT special education certification, familiarity with ABA, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- CT certification in special education
- DSAP or Long-Term Substitute Eligible
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis/Precision Teaching/Direct Instruction
- Some experience working with students with challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
- Valid driver's license
- At least 3 years of driving experience
