Job Summary
Special Education Teacher needed at Lake Elmo Elementary (Stillwater Area Public Schools) for .5 FTE (4 hours/day). Design and implement instructional plans aligned with district standards; review and modify materials; accommodate instruction to meet students' unique strengths and challenges; coordinate with IEP teams, serve as primary contact for parents, and participate in team meetings. Maintain records, comply with due process procedures, and collaborate with support services, colleges, and universities to provide practical learning experiences. Requires formal licensure in SLD/ABS/ASD/EBD by Minnesota; duties include designing annual education plans, evaluating student progress, and delivering effective, research-based instruction within a inclusive, respectful learning environment.
