Job Summary
Join MyPath as a Special Education Teacher, where you will develop and implement classroom management plans and aid in the development of crisis cycles and sensory profiles for students with significant needs. Responsibilities include updating IEPs, collaborating and leading Instructional Aides, and managing a caseload of 7-10 students. Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree and certification in Special Education from the State of Wisconsin, with preference given to those experienced in working with individuals exhibiting autism and cognitive delays. This position offers a competitive salary range of $54,000 to $68,000, alongside year-round pay, PTO, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required
- Certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in one of the following licenses: Cross-Categorical Special Education (1801), Intellectual Disabilities (1811), or Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (1830)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals who display needs in the areas of autism, cognitive delays, EBD, mental health, and other related disabilities preferred
