Job Summary
Conduct IEP case management by writing data-driven goals, monitoring student progress, and delivering targeted academic and behavioral interventions. Partner with general education teachers to implement accommodations and co-teach rigorous, culturally responsive content in middle and high school settings. Supervise paraprofessionals providing 1:1 support while promoting a positive culture through active engagement with students and families. Track student growth using diverse assessment tools and participate on MTSS Teams to advocate for diverse learners. Cultivate trusting relationships and pursue professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Required Qualifications
- Has both a teaching license and a special education endorsement
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
- Must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color, students with disabilities, and/or multilingual students
- Experience in teaching and implementing positive behavior supports to facilitate learning in the areas of academic, communication, executive functioning, behavioral, and social-emotional regulation
