Job Summary
Oversees and leads special education teams across schools; develops MTSS, PBIS, and curriculum/instruction; ensures compliance with state and federal laws regarding教育 and students with disabilities; facilitates parent-school partnerships; implements program planning, design, implementation, and evaluation activities including data collection and data analysis; develops procedures aligned with laws and case law; reviews effectiveness research impacting instructional programs; facilitates technology tools to deliver instruction and manage student data; oversees Extended School Year; travels daily within RAS schools; leads monthly leadership meetings; conducts observations/evaluations of special education staff; assists with absences and schedule revisions; monitors 287 referrals, intakes, and IEP meetings; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current Minnesota license as director of special education.
- Two years of administrative experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings.
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communication.
- Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.
