Special Education: SID Classroom- Long-Term Substitute

Provide learning activities appropriate to each child's level in a stimulating environment for students with severe and profound disabilities. Supervise assigned Paraprofessional(s), meet with parents to disclose individual student progress, and collaborate with related service providers to meet student needs. Attend regular programming meetings, prepare individualized education programs (IEPs) with educational goals, and evaluate academic and social growth while maintaining assessment records. Select instructional supplies and equipment as needed. Requires RIDE Special Education SID certification.
