Special Education Resource Teacher

Develop educational plans (IEPs) and evaluate students to identify individual needs for exceptional learners. Coordinate services with regular education teachers, parents, and agencies to ensure efficient instruction and effective program delivery. Teach students in English language arts and mathematics while implementing curriculum modifications and interventions to support goal attainment. Administer assessments, interpret results, and adjust instruction based on ongoing evaluations of student progress. Collaborate with staff using effective communication techniques to maintain teaming and translate documentation into understandable formats. Requires PA Certification in Special Education and a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
