Job Summary
Special Education Resource Teacher responsible for designing and implementing IEPs, delivering targeted instruction for students with learning disabilities, collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure inclusion, organizing IEP meetings, collecting and analyzing student performance data to inform instructional decisions, coordinating resources to remove barriers to learning, and staying current with advances in special education practices to enhance instructional effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Valid Arizona Teaching certificate in Special Education
- Valid SEI and K-5 Literacy Endorsements required
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella Immunity/Vaccination
- Valid I-9 form
- AZ Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
