Job Summary

Lead a special education classroom serving students with diverse learning needs. Develop and implement IEPs, manage classroom behavior using PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with families and staff to support each student's academic and social growth. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans aligned to IEP goals and state standards, adapting curriculum for individual needs, lead IEP meetings, track progress, coordinate with related service providers and outside agencies, and support use of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices. Qualifications include a valid Arizona Special Education certificate, a Bachelor’s degree, and an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card; a Master’s degree and 2–5 years of experience are preferred.
