Job Summary
Special Education Resource Paraprofessional assists the classroom teacher by supporting special education students, including one-on-one and small-group work, and helps with activities across the building. Duties include lifting and providing physical assistance, assisting in the lunchroom, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities, under supervision of a teacher or designated staff member. Work hours are typically 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., at Birchcrest Elementary School in Bellevue, Nebraska.
