Special Education Resource Mild/Moderate Teacher

Dos Mundos Academy is hiring a Special Education Resource Teacher with Mild/Moderate endorsement for a 1.0 FTE 9-month contract under the Granite School District. The classroom teacher will create a positive learning environment, differentiate instruction, and implement Proficiency-Based Learning aligned with USBE standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with general education staff, family communication, and maintaining records, while delivering core content and targeted support to students with Mild/Moderate needs. Applicants must hold a Utah Special Education license or an eligible out-of-state license, or possess a bachelor’s degree with eligibility/acceptance into approved Utah Special Education programs and the Associate Educator License pathway, with documentation uploaded as part of the application. New graduates may submit a conferral letter in lieu of licensure until official credentials are obtained. Preference given to candidates with demonstrated collaboration skills and experience supporting students in general education settings.
