Job Summary
Part-time Hearing-Impaired Special Education Teacher (DHH) provides direct instruction to students with IEPs within the Program For Exceptional Children, collaborating with general education staff, maintaining student records, conducting conferences with students/parents, and participating in required professional activities. Responsibilities include implementing professional practices, maintaining lesson plans, coordinating with paraprofessional staff, and ensuring appropriate communication with students, parents, and school personnel; requires strong instructional delivery for students with disabilities, adherence to district policies, and the ability to operate in both in-person and itinerant settings as part of the Bibb County Public School System.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Georgia certification in Special Education
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Meets Georgia state certification requirements in Special Education
- 190 day work year
- Salary based on certification and experience
