Special Education Program Coordinator

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate district-wide special education services, ensuring IEP compliance and high-quality outcomes for students. Design and oversee world-class special education and intervention programs, develop progress-monitoring systems, create forms and templates for service delivery, and provide ongoing professional training and coaching to special education teachers and school administrators. Recruit and supervise special education teachers, related services providers (e.g., school psychology, speech and language), and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations. Manage documentation, budget considerations, and collaboration with school leadership to ensure effective, compliant services across all assigned schools. Maintain current knowledge of IDEIA and Pennsylvania regulations and contribute to professional growth and district-wide improvement.
Required Qualifications
- PA Special Education K-12 required
- PA Supervisor of Special Education required or currently enrolled in program leading to certification
- Masters or Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, Special Education, School Psychology or related field or currently enrolled in program.
