Job Summary
Coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programs for students with IEPs; provide leadership and professional development for teachers; coach teachers on accommodations/modifications and ARD-related processes (including FBAs and BIPs); monitor progress with data collection to measure growth; ensure compliance with Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), FAPE, and FERPA; collaborate with district Special Education Leadership Team and school teams to assess student needs, determine interventions, and monitor progress toward goals; support district-wide programs and initiatives related to special education services and teacher development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (Special Education)
- General education and special education teaching experience
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, special education, or related field
- Texas mid-management or principal certification
- Minimum 3 years of special education teaching experience
