Job Summary
Paraprofessionals support teachers and students by facilitating one-to-one or small-group instruction, assisting with classroom management, and implementing special education plans (IEPs). Paraprofessionals will assist in Resource Rooms, Autism, Cog mild, ERI, 1:1, MD and 18-21 classrooms. They should be collaborative, adaptable and willing to take initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or minimum of 48 credits from an accredited college/university, OR passing score on the Parapro Praxis Exam (minimum score 456) ETS ParaPro | Prometric
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Ability to take direction and work cooperatively with other educational professionals
