Job Summary
Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities under the direction of certified Intervention Specialists and general education teachers. Responsibilities include supervising students in the classroom, attending IEP/IEP meetings, escorting students to and from buses, documenting behavior and progress, reinforcing instruction and PA curriculum, supporting individualized education programs, assisting with small-group instruction and classroom preparations, and participating in the IEP process while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Working hours are 8:00 am–4:00 pm with lifting up to 25 pounds; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Education with proper licensure/certification and background checks; strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education preferred
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Maintain current educational aide licensure, certification, BCI/FBI background check
- Proficient in computer applications including Google Docs, e-mail, and internet applications
