Job Summary
Support students in the classroom based on their IEPs and instructional needs while implementing consistent academic and behavioral procedures. Monitor and analyze student progress through standards-based assessments and track academic and behavioral data. Collaborate with Special Education, General Education, and ELD teachers to support diverse learning needs. Plan and co-lead Service-Learning projects and participate in weekly professional development and Form Meetings. Respond reactively and proactively to the academic and social-emotional needs of students in grades 6-12. Build and maintain a strong school culture centered on achievement and mutual respect.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Background clearance
- Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 48 college credit hours or passing score on Paraprof
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Multilingual including in Spanish and English
- Similar life experiences as our students
- Excitement about integrating academics with service work
- Interest in working collaboratively to improve instruction for all students
