Job Summary
Special Education Paraprofessional (Part-Time) at East Arbor Charter Academy for the 2026-27 school year. Responsibilities include assessing student abilities and providing instructional and behavioral assistance aligned with IEP and/or 504 plans, offering 1:1 or small-group support, implementing curriculum and instruction tailored to students’ needs, attending professional development and IEP meetings, and assisting with required compliance documentation. Requires ability to defuse situations, prior experience with individuals with disabilities or behavior modification (preferred), and aptitude for navigating technical systems. Position is based in Ypsilanti, MI with on-site (in-person) duties; starting pay is above market scales. Equal opportunity employer.
