Job Summary
Special Education Paraprofessional at UP Academy Dorchester (SY25-26) with a small caseload supporting students with moderate to severe needs. Responsibilities include implementing a rigorous behavior intervention system, delivering daily tutoring, and collaborating with families and teachers. Requires HS diploma or GED, 48 college credits (or an Associate's Degree) or passing ParaPro/WorkKeys, and U.S. work authorization by start date. Temporary, school-year assignment.
Required Qualifications
- A high-school diploma or GED
- Minimum of forty-eight (48) Credit Hours of College Coursework as a current student; or an Associate's Degree; or a passing score on ParaPro Assessment or WorkKeys Certificate of Proficiency for Teacher Assistants (REQUIRED)
- Current authorization to work in the United States – authorization by first day of employment
Desired Qualifications
- ABA experience preferred
