Special Education Paraprofessional

Special Education Paraprofessional provides support for students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom, assisting with IEP implementation, self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs under supervision of a certified teacher. Responsibilities include helping with physical needs (transfers and positioning), supervising lunchroom/bus/playground, assisting with motor skills and instructional exercises, managing behavior, and coordinating with teachers. Requires a high school diploma or GED, Texas educational aide certificate, and two years of experience with children. Duties also include data collection, supporting substitute teachers, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in professional development. Must be able to work in Kennedale, Texas, in-person.
