Job Summary
Special Education Paraprofessional II assists teachers in providing individualized support to students with disabilities, helping implement IEPs and promoting inclusion. Responsibilities include one-on-one or small group assistance, adapting materials, assisting with behavior management, supervising students during non-instructional times, and supporting teachers with classroom setup and progress reporting. The role involves assisting with daily tasks and personal care as needed, maintaining student safety, and participating in professional development to improve student outcomes in a 180-day/9-month school term. Location: Oklahoma City, OK. Reports to Special Education Teacher and/or Principal.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Special Education Paraprofessional Tier II certificate (as required by OSDE)
