Special Education Paraprofessional at Taylor Exemplar Academy

Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral assistance for students in accordance with their individual education plan (IEP) and/or 504-behavior plan, supporting them 1:1 or in small groups. Implement result-driven curriculum and instruction designed to meet the unique needs of each student resulting from disability, including resource room, inclusion, and pullout services. Commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially while attending professional development, specialized trainings, and IEP meetings with the special education team and parents. Assist with required compliance documentation and defuse situations to prevent escalation.
