Special Education Paraprofessional at Sky Ranch Academy

Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral assistance for students in accordance with their individual education plan (IEP) and/or 504-behavior plan, supporting learners 1:1 or in small groups. Implement result-driven curriculum and instruction designed to meet the unique needs of each student resulting from disability, including resource room, inclusion, and pullout services. Attend professional development, specialized trainings, and IEP meetings with the special education team and parents as required while assisting with compliance documentation. Commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially. Defuse situations and prevent escalation, with a preference for candidates having previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities and behavior modifications.
