Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior management strategies and ABA therapy protocols while assisting students with activities of daily living including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene. Collect and record behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop tailored care plans. Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions focused on skill acquisition and behavior reduction while maintaining detailed medical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure consistency in intervention strategies. This role supports children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, within educational or home-based settings through compassionate, evidence-based practices.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health interventions effectively
- Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and treatment outcomes
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to client confidentiality and medical documentation
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 7:15 AM to 2:55 PM hours
- Full-time employment beginning August 17, 2026
