Job Summary
Assist certified teachers in supervising an individual student with an IEP and/or small groups of students with physical, emotional, mental and/or communicative disabilities at an assigned school site; help students develop self-help, social, and community skills. Duties include assisting with bus loading/unloading, attending meetings, carrying out therapeutic regimens under supervision of specialists, classroom setup and material distribution, employing educational strategies to support development, maintaining student records, assisting with personal hygiene and cafeteria/recess duties, and collaborating with educational professionals to implement programs. Must maintain confidentiality and complete required trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in areas related to the listed performance responsibilities preferred.
